Who says April is the cruelest month?

Wordle: April is the cruellest month
Wordle is an image automatically generated with your own text.
This is one I made from and excerpt of T.S. Eliot's The Wasteland

1. Sound Mind Yoga happens on April 11th 1-3pm at Yoga Now!
This is my monthly workshop combining Restorative Yoga and the vibrational wizardry of Singing Bowls (I've been asked, and would like to assure you, there is no singing involved - fear not.  They are specially tuned bells whose vibrations feel fantastic and help move your mojo.) This is happening Easter/Passover weekend, so bring your out of town guests (or drop them off, if need be.) Details on the sidebar.

2. Happy Hour Yoga is having a POTLUCK on April 24th!
Please do bring a dish, or a beverage, and hang out after our 6pm class for some good times with good people!  Class is by donation as always, broke folk welcome.  This will be a bit of a celebration of our neighborly community, so bring a friend!  Yoga at 6pm, Potluck at 7:30pm.  Those who help wash the dishes will be rewarded in heaven. Write a review for Happy Hour on Yelp! (Please do!)

3. Happy Hour Yoga will NOT meet the following week, on May 1st,
as there is a special event in the space that is Walt Whitman.  We will be back to our weekly schedule May 8th!  Write a review for Happy Hour on Google listings!  (Yes, even just a tiny word helps!)

4. Similarly, there will be a special event at Yoga Now Gold Coast on Sunday night, April 26th, and weekly restorative class will be canceled.  Please feel free to come on down anyway, and join Richard Rudis for his celebrated Gong Bath.  This is great fun, and a deep, mindful way to shake the chi your mama gave you. Details are on the Yoga Now site under workshops.

5. During the month of April, new private yoga students enjoy a session for $25 off!
A few of my very favorite private yoga students are moving away from Chicago (Mark and Mo, you will be missed!), which means I'm currently taking new clients!   Private sessions are $75 per hour; for April, your first session is $50.  My recent work has brought relief and balance to bodies with limitations such as Parkinson's disease, type 1 Diabetes and Chronic Pain.  If you are interested, or have a friend that would be, I will be happy to see you.  Email me: karenfaith@yogaforthemoment.com to schedule a session this week.
